CUA In the Media

On Oct. 25, Fox News aired a story about the handcrank cycle used by some of the participants in the Marine Corps Marathon. The cycle is dedicated to T.J. Barbieri, who was killed in Iraq in 2006. T.J. was the son of CUA assistant football coach Tom Barbieri and brother of current CUA lacrosse player Matt Barbieri. CUA's lacrosse team, along with the Barbieri's and Genna Griffith of the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans, worked together to raise money to purchase the cycle.
